MTs Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai Bekasi Opens Student Admissions for the 2027/2028 Academic Year
BEKASI — MTs Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai has officially opened its New Student Admission (PPDB) for the 2027/2028 Academic Year through an Open House event held at the MI Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai premises in Bekasi City on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. The event served as an opportunity to introduce the newly established Islamic junior high school and present its educational programs to prospective students and their parents.
As a newly established educational institution, MTs Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai aims to provide a continuation of education for students graduating from MI Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai. Operating under the auspices of the Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai Waqf Foundation, the school is expected to become an educational option for elementary-level Islamic school graduates who wish to continue their studies at the Islamic junior secondary level.
The Head of the Bekasi City Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, H. Asnawi, S.Ag., M.Pd., who attended the event, congratulated the school on its establishment. He expressed his hope that the presence of MTs Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai would further strengthen the role of Islamic schools in Bekasi City.
"With the opening of MTs Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai, we now have an additional strength among Islamic schools in Bekasi City. Congratulations and best wishes for continued success. May the school continue to progress, becoming an outstanding Islamic school with a global reach," Asnawi said.
The Head of the School, H. Rojikin, S.Pd.I., explained that the institution carries the vision of nurturing a generation that is excellent, globally minded, well-mannered, and equipped with an entrepreneurial spirit.
This vision is supported by several educational programs, including halaqah dirosiyah (structured study circles), rihlatut tarbawiyah (educational trips), and life skills development.
According to Rojikin, the halaqah dirosiyah approach positions teachers as facilitators while encouraging students to take an active role in the learning process.
"The students are the ones who take an active role. They are encouraged to explore their abilities, develop their talents, and build the confidence to perform and express themselves in front of their classmates and other audiences," he explained.
The school's educational programs were also introduced through the Al-Muhajirien Intelligence Championship (AIC) 2026. One of its featured activities was NARASI (National Academic Research Argumentation and Scientific Idea), a discussion and question-and-answer forum designed to train participants to express their ideas and develop strong arguments.
In addition, the Open House featured a parenting seminar aimed at educating parents on how to support and guide their children's growth and development.
Through this Open House event, MTs Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai introduced its educational programs and learning approaches to the wider community. The event also marked the official opening of student admissions for the 2027/2028 Academic Year, allowing interested prospective students to begin registering and become part of the school.
