Al-Muhajirien Foundation and Cambridge Collaborate to Deliver Quality Education
Bekasi — Yayasan Waqaf Al Muhajirien Jakapermai has partnered with Cambridge International Education through Cambridge Indonesia to deliver high-quality, internationally standardized education in Indonesia.
Chairman of the foundation, HM Syafiudin, stated that the collaboration represents a strategic step to strengthen the foundation’s commitment to providing globally competitive education while maintaining strong Islamic values.
“This partnership with Cambridge aims to reinforce our commitment to delivering globally recognized education that remains rooted in Islamic values,” he said in an official statement.
He explained that the collaboration is intended to expand students’ access to international-standard education, enrich the learning process, and prepare future generations to compete globally while maintaining strong moral character.
According to him, the decision to adopt an international curriculum is based on its strong global reputation as a credible and high-quality education system. The curriculum is also designed to encourage critical thinking, independence, and readiness to face future challenges.
Through this approach, students are expected not only to excel academically but also to develop strong Islamic character and be well-prepared to pursue higher education at the international level.
This initiative also reflects the foundation’s vision of becoming an Islamic School with Digital Learning and International Excellence, integrating modern education with Islamic values.
“These principles align closely with our vision of being a pioneer in educational innovation that combines academic excellence, digital technology, and Islamic values,” Syafiudin added.
Meanwhile, Senior Country Manager of Cambridge Indonesia, Dianindah Apriyani, welcomed the collaboration, describing it as a strong commitment by the foundation to provide quality Islamic education.
“The implementation of the Cambridge curriculum will further enhance educational quality, and students will benefit from its positive impact,” she said.
She noted that the Cambridge curriculum is globally recognized and currently implemented in more than 1,500 institutions worldwide. Its flexibility also allows it to be adapted across various types of schools, including those integrating Islamic values.
In addition, Cambridge will provide training programs for teachers and education staff to enhance their professional development and teaching capabilities.
“We hope that students studying under the Cambridge curriculum will be able to compete globally while preserving their cultural and national values,” Dianindah concluded.
The curriculum is planned to be implemented at Al Azhar Islamic Schools in Jakapermai, Kemang Pratama, and Grand Wisata.
